About your tutor
I was born and raised in Jerusalem, spending much of my early life in the vibrant, international environment of Jerusalem’s Old City. Palestinian Arabic is my native language, and I have a lifelong knowledge of spoken and written Arabic.
The Qur’an has been part of my life from an early age. I studied the Qur’an and prayed regularly at Al-Aqsa Mosque. I can help you explore Qur’anic passages in detail, including their vocabulary, grammar and meaning, and deepen your understanding of the Arabic you read and hear.
Alongside Arabic, I bring many years of professional experience in engineering and technology. My career has taken me around the world, particularly Europe and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Working across languages and cultures has shaped how I approach communication and teaching.
I offer a personal, flexible approach to tuition, shaped around your reasons for learning. For professionals, I can tailor lessons towards business travel and international work, with particular insight into the needs of people in engineering and technical fields.
